About the Role:
We’re looking for a capable and organised Learning Support Administrator to join our Airways International Training team in Christchurch.

This is a varied role supporting the delivery of Air Traffic Control training and other specialist programmes across New Zealand and internationally. You’ll help keep our training operation running smoothly by supporting students and training staff, maintaining accurate records, coordinating course activities and events, and providing day-to-day administrative support across the wider Airways International business.

You’ll also support a range of training and selection activities, including student administration, travel and bookings, purchasing and invoicing, learning and assessment systems, recruitment and assessment centres, career expos and other stakeholder events.

With priorities changing throughout the year, this role will suit someone who enjoys variety, can manage competing demands and takes pride in delivering a high standard of support to students, colleagues and customers.

About You:
You’ll be a proactive and dependable administrator who enjoys working in a busy, collaborative environment and is comfortable taking ownership of a wide range of tasks.

You’ll bring strong planning and organisational skills, excellent attention to detail and the ability to prioritise effectively while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines. You’ll also be a confident communicator who can build positive working relationships with students, customers, suppliers and colleagues from a range of backgrounds.

Ideally, you’ll bring:

  • Previous administrative experience, preferably within aviation, training or education.
  • A relevant tertiary qualification at Level 6 or above.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Teams.
  • Demonstrated experience planning and prioritising varied workloads.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaborative skills.
  • A customer-focused approach and commitment to delivering quality work.
  • The initiative, adaptability and enthusiasm to contribute wherever needed.

Experience within a high-tempo training environment, or preparing presentations and eLearning content, would also be an advantage.

Most importantly, you’ll be someone who works well with others, stays calm and organised when things get busy, and takes genuine pride in helping create a great experience for our students and customers.

To Apply:
If you’re an organised and enthusiastic administrator looking for an opportunity to contribute to aviation training, we’d love to hear from you! Please submit your application (CV and cover letter) through the Airways careers website or Seek.

Application closing date is Thursday, 19 November 2026.

Please note that you must be legally eligible to work in New Zealand to be considered.

The successful candidate will be required to complete pre-employment checks relevant to the role, including reference and criminal conviction checks.
