About us

Grace Orthopaedic Centre provides a comprehensive service for Orthopaedic conditions as well as Rheumatology, Neurology and Sports Medicine. We provide a Fracture Clinic, supported by the Surgeon's based in the Centre and post-operative clinic's. This role will be the nurse in the Fracture Clinic and provide post operative support for surgical patients as needed. We are looking for a registered nurse who has a friendly and practical attitude to provide a high level of nursing care and support to a great group of Orthopaedic surgeons.

Qualifications & experience

• Registered Nurse with Current APC

• Plaster application experience

• Sound clinical judgement

• Excellent Interpersonal Skills

• Safe & effective practice skills

Tasks & responsibilities

• Application of plaster or orthotic devices

• Wound checks and suture removals

• Triage of referrals

• Provide telephone support for patients as needed

• Managing supplies and equipment at appropriate levels and in good working order
