Key Responsibilities will Include
- Managing month-end and year-end financial reporting processes
- Preparing financial statements, management accounts and financial reporting
- Managing general ledger, reconciliations, accruals, journals and balance sheet accounts
- Managing loan administration from drawdown through to repayment
- Maintaining accurate loan records and ensuring lending documentation and financial information is up to date
- Supporting the ongoing management of the lending cycle, including variations, extensions, refinances and settlements
- Assisting with cash flow management and reporting across the property lending portfolio
- Identifying and resolving discrepancies, ensuring financial information is accurate and timely
- Supporting the broader finance and lending teams with analysis and ad hoc reporting
The Successful Candidate will Have
- A relevant degree in finance or accounting
- Experience in property accounting, ideally across commercial property, property funds, property non-bank, development or a related environment
- Strong knowledge of month-end and financial reporting processes
- Ability to work autonomously in a lean environment
- Excellent attention to detail
- Experience with loan drawdowns and settlements
- Strong end-to-end financial management skills, with the willingness and ability to take ownership of loan administration and the broader lending lifecycle.
