We are seeking highly motivated security personnel to work at construction sites in Scarborough. You must be able to work outside, no exceptions.

Position Overview:

Wages: $19.00/hr

Location: South of 404 and Steeles area

Shift timings: All Shift Availability. 

Status: Temporary FT or PT until March 2027.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• De-escalate tense situations by verbal communication using a variety of techniques designed to reduce risk.
• Escort medical staff including paramedics, police and firefighters when required.
• Respond to medical emergencies and be prepared to perform CPR and AED if needed.
• Unlock and lock doors for access by authorized persons. Denying entry to anyone without authorization. 
• Ensure construction workers on the list are only allowed to enter premises.
• Follow security breach procedures by notifying supervisors or other appropriate personnel when security breaches occur.
• Perform foot patrols outside the facility including gatehouse duties when required.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

• Valid Ontario Security License
• Valid First Aid and CPR Certificate
• 6 months minimum of security experience minimum within large scale security operations is strongly preferred but not required.
• Thorough understanding of security protocols and procedures including emergency response.
• Customer service experience is a strong asset.
• Candidates must be willing to undergo a criminal record check.
