The Company
With over 25 years of experience in the Australian construction market, our client is an established and highly regarded National builder delivering projects across the industrial, commercial and retail sectors.

With a strong pipeline of secured work, they are looking to attract experienced construction professionals from New Zealand who may be considering a move to Australia.

The Role
They are currently seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor / Contract Administrator to join their Perth team.

This is a contractor-side role working on major construction projects valued at $40M+, with responsibility across the commercial and contractual management of projects.

You will be involved in:

  • Subcontractor procurement and letting packages

  • Contract administration

  • Progress claims and payment schedules

  • Variations and cost management

  • Forecasting and project reporting

  • Managing subcontractor accounts

  • Cost control throughout the project lifecycle

  • Working closely with Project Managers and Site Managers

  • Supporting the commercial delivery of projects from construction through to completion

About You To be considered, you will need:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Contracts Administrator

  • Experience working directly for a commercial builder / main contractor

  • Experience delivering construction projects valued at $30M+

  • Strong understanding of construction contracts and commercial management

  • Experience with subcontractor procurement, variations, claims and cost reporting

  • Relevant construction, Quantity Surveying or tertiary qualifications

  • Strong communication and commercial skills

  • An interest in relocating to Sydney, Australia

  • NZ citizenship is a must

Experience with a recognised New Zealand main contractor is a must.
