Ducting Installers and HVAC Technicians
Auckland | $35 to $50 per hour | Wages or contract options
Harrisons Air Conditioning is growing its commercial HVAC and projects team. We are looking for experienced Ducting Installers and HVAC Technicians to join us.
You will work across commercial fit outs, new builds, maintenance and larger construction projects throughout Auckland.
Harrisons Air Conditioning is part of Grammar Group, an established multi trade business covering electrical, plumbing, roofing, HVAC, refrigeration, industrial and project work.
The roles
Depending on your experience, your work may include:
Installing and commissioning commercial HVAC, air conditioning, ventilation and extraction systems
Installing commercial ductwork, supports, equipment, pipework and service connections
Reading and interpreting mechanical drawings, plans, specifications and equipment schedules
Completing accurate site measurements and ductwork set out
Adapting or modifying ductwork on site when required
Coordinating with project managers, builders and other trades
Identifying and resolving installation issues before they affect quality or programme
Completing testing, commissioning, quality checks and project documentation
Maintaining a high standard of workmanship, site organisation and health and safety
Ducting Installers
We are looking for:
Proven experience installing commercial ductwork
The ability to read and interpret detailed mechanical drawings
Accurate site measurement and ductwork set out skills
Confidence adapting and modifying ductwork on site
The ability to plan your work, solve problems and work independently
Good communication skills and strong spoken English
Pride in safe, tidy and high quality workmanship
HVAC Technicians
We are looking for:
At least three years of commercial HVAC installation, service or maintenance experience
Experience across commercial fit outs, new builds or construction projects
Strong knowledge of HVAC, air conditioning, ventilation and extraction systems
The ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Relevant HVAC qualifications or certifications
Strong fault finding and problem solving skills
High standards of workmanship and communication
Requirements
For both roles, you must have:
New Zealand citizenship or residency. These roles are open to New Zealand citizens and residents only. We are not offering visa sponsorship.
A current and unrestricted New Zealand driver licence
The ability to work independently and as part of a wider project team
A strong commitment to health and safety
Site Safe, EWP and working at heights tickets are an advantage.
