The Retail Duty Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of retail activities at Liquorland Glen Eden. This position demands a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can oversee various aspects of retail operations while providing exceptional customer service.
This is a part-time position working a minimum of 15 rostered hours per week. Flexibility is key, with availability to work late nights and weekend shifts.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Supervise and coordinate daily retail operations, including sales, inventory management, and the delivery exceptional customer service
- Lead and motivate the retail team to achieve sales targets
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as health and safety regulations
- Compliance with the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act 2012
- Provide coaching and product training, contributing to the continuous development of the team
- Monitor financial transactions, POS reconciliations, and prepare daily sales reports
The ideal candidate for this role will possess strong leadership and communication skills, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service. They should also demonstrate sound decision-making capabilities in a fast-paced retail environment.
What you bring:
- Proven experience in retail management or a similar supervisory role
- Must have LCQ and Duty Manager certificate
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team of retail staff
- Previous experience of inventory management processes
- Excellent communication, customer service and relationship building skills

- Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and evenings as required
