Solutions Architect- AI
We are currently recruiting for a Solutions Architect with AI experience to join one of our Insurance clients on a 6-month contract.

Responsibilities

Design and oversee end-to-end solutions across applications, data, integration, infrastructure, and emerging capabilities such as AI
Produce and maintain high-level and detailed solution design artefacts
Strong awareness of cyber security principles (secure-by-design, Zero Trust)
Ensure consistency and reuse across solutions and platforms
Apply systems thinking to manage dependencies, integrations, and data flows
Apply and contribute to architecture principles, standards, patterns, and frameworks
Ensure adherence to enterprise standards, security policies, and compliance requirements
Participate in solution design reviews and governance forums
Review and assure solutions for quality, consistency, and fitness for purpose
Identify and manage risks, issues, and dependencies
Awareness of AI/ML integration and governance considerations

Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
Certification in architecture or cloud certifications (e.g., TOGAF, Azure) would be beneficial
Strong domain experience working in financial services or pension industry
Proven solution design expertise across applications, APIs, data, integration, infrastructure, security, and hybrid cloud architecture
Demonstrate solid knowledge of architectural principles, design patterns, and enterprise governance practices
such as . NET, Python/Django, C, C++, relational databases (Oracle/Postgresql/Azure SQL), PL/SQL, and React
Comfortable working across a broad technology landscape, including modern engineering practices, cloud platforms, and legacy environments
Practical experience or strong awareness of AI-enabled architectures, including embedding GenAI/ML capabilities into enterprise solutions with appropriate governance and controls
Experience in aligning AI-enabled solutions with compliance, audit, and data protection requirements
