We’re looking for a capable Sales Support Officer to join our New Zealand team based in Auckland. This is a varied role where you’ll work closely with the sales team and customers to keep things running smoothly.

What you’ll be doing

•     Providing administrative and clerical support to the New Zealand sales team.

•     Responding to customer enquiries by phone and email and delivering great customer service.

•     Preparing and processing sales and hire agreements, documentation and invoices.

•     Coordinating transport and managing asset and stock allocations to meet customer requirements.

•     Raising purchase orders and following up overdue accounts.

•     Supporting contract administration, tenders, proposals, reporting and project documentation.

•     Maintaining accurate information across our internal systems.

•     Supporting month-end financial reporting and discussing results with the Country Manager.

What you’ll bring

•     Experience in sales support, sales administration, customer service or a similar coordination role.

•     Strong organisational skills and excellent attention to detail.

•     Confident communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.

•     Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and general business systems.

•     A proactive, practical approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently while supporting a wider team.

•     Comfortable handling administrative and financial information accurately.

•     A current driver’s licence (essential).

•     Flexibility for occasional travel and out of hours work.

Experience in the shipping container industry highly advantageous.
