We’re looking for an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join a well-established manufacturing operation in Auckland. This is a hands-on maintenance role focused on keeping plant and machinery running reliably, troubleshooting breakdowns and carrying out mechanical repairs and preventative maintenance.

What you'll be doing
- Preventative and reactive maintenance across production machinery
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- Running and maintaining milling, lathing machinery - this is a must
- Fabrication and fitting work as needed
- Working alongside production to keep downtime to a minimum
- Doing it all safely, and doing it right
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter in a manufacturing or industrial setting
- Solid milling and lathing skills
- Some Fabrication experience
- A sharp eye for fault-finding and problem-solving
- A reliable, proactive attitude and a safety-first mindset
- Full-time, steady afternoon shift, 2.00pm to 10.00pm, Also Morning shift 6am-2pm available!
- Overtime options! Time and a half, with up to 55 hours a week available
- Training likely be a short stint on mornings (6.00am to 2.00pm) until you are ready
