About Remax Doors
Remax Doors designs, manufactures, installs and services door systems for traffic and energy control in commercial and industrial buildings. That double-acting door at the back of the supermarket, or the high-speed roll-up door on the loading dock, is probably one of ours.

The Role
We’re looking for a licensed electrician who wants variety beyond standard fit-outs. You’ll install, commission, maintain and fault-find automated door systems. That means motors, drives, control circuits, safety sensors and the mechanical systems they run, across sites throughout NSW and interstate.

What You’ll Do

Electrical & Technical

  • Install, wire, commission and fault-find rapid doors, sectional doors, roller shutters, impact doors and strip screens

  • Work with three-phase and single-phase motors, VSDs, control boards, safety edges, photo-eyes and access interlocks

  • Diagnose and repair breakdowns, often on live operational sites where uptime matters

  • Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance and compliance checks

Service & Projects

  • Respond to service calls across NSW

  • Run installations onsite, including labour, parts and materials

  • Do pre-site assessments: measurements, photos and technical advice for the projects team

  • Complete service reports, enter labour and parts, and quote remedial work

  • Give technical phone support to clients, technicians and distributors

General

  • Help with product assembly, workshop upkeep and vehicle and stock maintenance when you’re not onsite

  • Follow site inductions, safety procedures and company WHS policies

What You’ll Bring

  • NSW Electrical Licence (essential) and a Certificate III in Electrotechnology

  • Experience fault-finding motor control, drives or automation systems

  • Mechanical aptitude. Door systems are part electrical, part mechanical

  • Current driver’s licence and White Card

  • EWP, working at heights or forklift tickets (an advantage)

  • Willingness to travel, including occasional extended stays away

  • Clear communication with clients and site managers

What You’ll Get

  • Competitive salary, company vehicle and ability for additional overtime

  • Varied work across retail, logistics, cold storage and industrial sites

  • Mentoring from experienced technicians on specialised door systems

  • A growing business with a genuine family-first approach to work-life balance
