You'll be the go-to person for all things finance in New Zealand, balancing day-to-day accounting with reporting, forecasting and commercial support.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Taking ownership of the full accounting function, including month-end, GL, AP, AR and reconciliations.
- Preparing management reports, financial statements and supporting statutory compliance.
- Managing cashflow, budgets, forecasting and financial controls.
- Handling foreign currency transactions, intercompany accounts and inventory accounting.
- Working closely with the GM and Group CFO to improve processes, reporting and business performance.
What we're looking for
You'll be an experienced Accountant who knows their debits from their credits and is equally comfortable getting into the detail or looking at the bigger picture.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- A relevant accounting qualification with 5+ years' experience, or 10+ years in a similar hands-on role.
- Strong technical accounting skills, including reporting, reconciliations and foreign currency transactions.
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working with accounting systems. Pronto ERP experience would be an advantage.
- A practical, organised approach with excellent communication skills.
- A curious mindset, strong attention to detail and a willingness to roll up your sleeves.
