We're embarking on an exciting transformation of our Accounts Payable function through the implementation of a new AP automation platform. We're looking for an experienced AP professional to join our Finance team permanently and play a key role in bringing this new way of working to life.

This is more than a traditional Accounts Payable role. You'll take ownership of our day-to-day AP processes while also being the Finance team's AP subject matter expert through the implementation, go-live and continued optimisation of our new automation platform.

If you have at least three years' Accounts Payable experience and have been hands-on with AP automation or the implementation of an automated AP system, we'd love to hear from you.

What's on Your Plate?

Reporting to our Financial Controller, you'll:

• Own our day-to-day Accounts Payable processes, ensuring accuracy and efficiency

• Prepare weekly and monthly payment runs

• Drive PO compliance and invoice approval processes across the business

• Manage the AP clearing general ledger account and ageing of the AP ledger

• Support the implementation and embedding of our new AP automation platform, including system configuration, testing, rollout and user training

• Champion touchless processing and continually identify opportunities to automate, streamline and improve the AP process

• Prepare monthly supplier statement reconciliations

• Manage supplier queries and the new supplier set-up process

• Maintain clear, up-to-date process documentation

• Provide broader support across the Finance team when required, including AR and bank reconciliation workflows

Recipe for Success

We're looking for someone who brings the right combination of strong AP fundamentals and automation experience.

You'll have:

• At least three years' experience in an Accounts Payable role

• Hands-on experience with AP automation, including being involved in the implementation, optimisation or transformation of an automated AP solution

• Strong end-to-end Accounts Payable knowledge and experience working with high transaction volumes

• An understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting principles

• Strong problem-solving skills and a solutions-focused approach

• A genuine drive to continually improve processes and reduce manual intervention

• Great attention to detail, efficiency and accuracy

• Confidence communicating and building relationships across the business

• A proactive, self-starting approach and the ability to work as part of a team

• Intermediate Excel skills

• A high level of integrity and reliability
