We are seeking applicants who live in East, South or West Auckland. Although our depot is based just off Rosebank Road in Avondale, our teams only attend the depot on Fridays and spend Monday to Thursday, travelling together in a company vehicle, directly to and from client sites.

It's an advantage if you have the following training certifications, but full training will be provided.

• Site Safe Passport

• Advanced Working at Heights 

• Elevated Work Platform

• Confined spaces 

• Chemical handling

• First Aid

The positions are rostered for up to 40 hours each week. The timeframe for these work sessions will be Monday to Friday, irregular hours with shifts changing daily.  The timing of working hours will be set out in a weekly roster. There is occasionally more hours available and some weekend work but it is very irregular.

We work around our customers’ needs, so work is often completed outside normal business hours.

We also provide all relevant PPE required (overalls, boots, gloves, harness etc).

Your duties will include:

• Cleaning fans, flues, roofs, ovens, hoods & filters and other as directed

• Cleaning and sanitizing high walls, ceilings, light fittings, laundry ducts, and air handling systems.

• Cleaning and maintaining company property, including (but not limited to) van and PPE gear.

• Follow company policies and complete training on the safe use of cleaning chemicals and following the lockout process for electrical fans and gas appliances.

• Drive the team van as required to share around the driving.

Requirements for this role:

• Comfortable working with ladders, elevated work platforms and roof work at heights, using safety ropes & harnesses.

• Clean police record with the ability to pass MOJ vetting to complete client security vetting and inductions.

• Ability to pass drug/alcohol test(s) 

• Reliable and keen to turn up for work with ability to take ownership

• Good English language skills to understand instructions & complete training/obtain qualifications/certificates

• Flexible to changing shifts & working hours

• Trustworthy and able to integrate with diverse teams

• Be physically fit and self-motivated

• Some relevant work experience or mechanical aptitude an advantage
