The Recruitment Network (TRN) is looking for experienced Chefs in Tauranga to support rest home and aged-care kitchen operations.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking nutritious meals for residents
• Catering to different dietary requirements and special diets
• Following menus, recipes and portion guidelines
• Maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
• Ensuring food safety and kitchen hygiene standards are met
• Working alongside kitchen staff to ensure smooth daily operations

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a Chef is essential
• Experience in rest homes, aged care or healthcare catering is an advantage
• Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
• Ability to cater to different dietary requirements
• Strong time management and organisational skills
• Reliable, professional and able to work independently
• Current New Zealand working rights
