Living Waters Medical Solutions is seeking General Practitioners, Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Prescribers to join our rapidly growing practices in Whanganui and Palmerston North.
We are a locally owned healthcare provider committed to accessible, affordable care. As our practices grow, we are building a collaborative clinical team that recognises the contribution of every clinician.
A model of care built on inclusion
Our model of care actively includes and values the full range of clinical scopes within general practice. GPs, Nurse Practitioners and Nurse Prescribers contribute directly to patient assessment, treatment and ongoing care within their respective scopes.
We respect each clinician’s professional judgement and support them to work to the full extent of their authorised scope, with clinical collaboration and clear pathways for advice and escalation. We welcome colleagues who want to contribute their expertise and help shape how our team delivers care.
What we offer
4–8 sessions per week (0.4–0.8 FTE), with working days and hours agreed around your availability and the needs of the practice.
15-minute appointments, with a minimum of one hour per session allocated to administration and breaks. We are flexible and will work with you to organise sessions that support your clinical practice.

Hourly remuneration for employed roles
General Practitioner: $120+ per hour
Nurse Practitioner: $100+ per hour
Nurse Prescriber: $60+ per hour
Rates reflect your experience and, for GPs, your stage of training and Fellowship status.
Who we are looking for
You will bring a collaborative approach, a commitment to patient-centred and culturally safe care, and an interest in improving access and outcomes for our communities.
You will hold appropriate New Zealand registration and a current practising certificate for your role, including prescribing authority where applicable.
