Duty Manager - Cafe, Driving Range & Hospitality

Club Summary – About Us

Remuera Golf Club (RGC) is one of Auckland's leading golf clubs and encompasses multiple vibrant facilities alongside our outstanding golf course, including the indoor Velocity Driving Range and outdoor Open Range (31 bays total), Café Restaurant & Bar, and several event spaces including the Tui Lounge hosting up to 150+ guests.

Centrally located, the Club delivers a unique range of functions, from everyday café service to corporates, public and RGC member events for our large membership base. The Club attracts a steady flow daily of members and guests playing golf, hitting range balls, socialising and enjoying food and beverage service.

The Role

We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused Duty Manager to lead and support the Hospitality teams, based within the Cafe and/or Range area. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone with a passion for hospitality and Food & Beverage, with exceptional customer service, and attention to detail.

About you

·         A genuine desire to deliver and maintain first-rate customer service, with a proactive and confident approach to encouraging customers to enjoy the full range of venue offerings through food, beverage and range offerings.

·         Great communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop teams.

·         Proven F&B and events experience is essential.

·         Confidence using IT systems; training will be provided for systems such as Lightspeed, Range Management System (RMS), DotGolf, Toptracer and digital music and sound systems used within the venue.

Requirements

·         A current NZ Duty Manager’s Certificate is required for applications to be considered.

·         Availability to work a hospitality-style 7-day roster, including weekends.
