Pimp My Garage has become extremely well-respected and we are looking for an Installer who will live up to our brand values.
Our customers expect outstanding service, top quality products and a tailored solution that fits their lifestyle, is functional and aesthetically impressive. The role is customer-facing, so punctuality, personal presentation and professionalism are critical. We treat every garage as if it were our own and respect our customers' homes and their individual expectations.
As Pimp My Garage Installer, delivering the vision that we have designed for our customers comes with a deep sense of daily satisfaction. Our service is unique in NZ and every job is different, personalised to the customer's specific brief. Our customers often come home early at the end of the install day with high expectations, yet are genuinely blown away by the transformation they see! As the Installer delivering the final result, you will regularly receive the praise and credit so often expressed by our customers.
You do not need to be a LBP but will need a basic understanding of house construction (stud positions, fixing to different materials etc). We are looking for self-motivated candidates with the initiative to come up with changes and improvements to the customer brief, based on site-specific factors.
There is a mix of work, but mostly flat-pack assembly and wall-fixed storage installation. The vast majority of the work is indoors, so rain delays are extremely rare.
Key responsibilities
Carry out flat-pack assembly and installation of wall-fixed storage solutions
Work independently on installations
Collaborate with other Installers on complex jobs
Maintain efficiency, practical approach, and quality work
Ensure punctuality and professionalism with customers
Clean up as you go, as well as at the end of the job

Efficient, practical, with good attention-to-detail
NZ residency or valid NZ work visa
Current driver's licence
Comfortable driving a manual van
Cabinet making and basic building skills are a bonus
