Talent Mining & Minerals is recruiting an experienced Trainer and Assessor for a mining operation in Western Australia. This is a hands-on site training role covering both the processing plant and light mobile plant. You will deliver inductions, verifications of competency and refresher training to processing crews and contractors, and keep the site training matrix current.

What you will be doing
- Deliver and assess VOCs on skid steer, EWP, telehandler and mini excavator
- Deliver processing plant inductions, isolation and permit-to-work training
- Run fixed plant and area-specific competency assessments for operators and contractors
- Develop and update training packages, SOPs and assessment tools
- Maintain training records and the site competency matrix
- Support supervisors with onboarding, field coaching and compliance gaps
What you will need
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or TAE40122)
- Current tickets and operating competency in skid steer, EWP, telehandler and mini excavator
- Background in a processing plant environment, such as crushing, screening, mill or concentrator
- Proven experience delivering VOCs and inductions on a WA mine site
- National Police Clearance and ability to pass a pre-employment medical and D&A
- C class driver's licence
Desirable
- Cert IV WHS
- Certificate III in Resource Processing or Surface Extraction
- Experience with site training systems such as INX, SAP LMS or similar
