Duties & Responsibilities
- Diploma in Transport, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management
- Minimum 8 years' experience within transport and logistics, including at least 5 years in a management capacity
- Proven experience managing road transport operations within a high-volume environment
- Strong working knowledge of fleet operations, including trucks, tyres, fuel consumption analysis, and transport cost management
- Sound understanding of heavy-duty vehicle operations, driver management (Code 14), and overall fleet performance management
- Basic knowledge of the Mining Act and Occupational Health & Safety legislation, with a clear understanding of compliance and operational requirements within these environments
