This is what we offer you:
- Salary between €2,800 and €3,600 gross per month based on a 40-hour workweek, depending on experience - Hybrid work arrangement, with a minimum of 2 days per week at our office in Rotterdam - An experienced automation engineer by your side who will mentor you in the field - Access to AI and development tools - Training budget for courses, certifications, and AI tools - Bonus plan including a 13th-month bonus and referral bonus - 25 vacation days and 6.5 compensatory days for full-time employment - Travel allowance
What will you do?
Do you already build things in your free time using Python, Claude Code, Cursor, or n8n? At Jelle, you'll be doing that for colleagues who'll be using them the very next day.
We build our own tools: a transcription tool, an assessment, matching algorithms, and voice agents. As a Junior Automation Developer, you'll start working alongside our automation engineer and will quickly take on your own projects. You'll hear from colleagues about the challenges they're facing and build solutions for them, using AI as your best tool. Start small, test, and improve.
Examples of what you'll be working on: - Build automations, such as for scheduling job interviews - Automatically follow up on no-shows via WhatsApp Business - Python scripts that retrieve, clean, and transfer data, written with the help of AI - Integrating systems via APIs - Contribute to AI applications, such as enriching candidate profiles - Testing, documenting, and maintaining your own solutions
