Production Operator - Coating / Paste / Extruder

Location: Te Atatū Peninsula, West Auckland
Hours: Monday to Friday, 16.10 - 12.40

We're looking for a reliable and motivated person to join our production team. This is a physically demanding role involving ingredient handling, machine operation, and production support. Candidates must be physically fit and able to safely lift up to 25kg on a repetitive basis throughout the shift.

Key duties:

• Prepare and handle ingredients for the production process.

• Set up, operate and monitor coating, paste and extrusion equipment.

• Complete quality checks to ensure products meet specification.

• Troubleshoot minor machine issues and report faults as required.

• Follow food safety, quality and health & safety procedures.

• Maintain a clean and organised work area.

Candidates must be physically capable of repeatedly lifting up to 25kg and performing sustained manual work while standing for most of the shift.

What We're Looking For

• Good mechanical aptitude

• Strong understanding of weights and measurements

• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Computer literacy

• Reliable, punctual and safety-focused

• Previous manufacturing, production, machine operating or food processing experience is advantageous, but not essential.
