We are currently seeking a Project Engineer based in Perth to join our growing team supporting client operations throughout Australia. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Project Engineer’s looking for long-term opportunities with a reputable company.
About the role
As a Project Engineer within our organization, you will be tasked to manage the rapidly expanding program of works (projects and maintenance). Successfully deliver projects from concept studies, engineering, procurement, implementation and close-out.
Majority of works relate to marine terminals, wharfs and jetty infrastructure - with opportunities for interstate travel.
Key responsibilities include:
Provide support to the project manager and site teams
Assist with feasibility and option studies
Liaise with engineering service providers on design and technical queries
Develop scope documents for the execution of works, and procurement of materials & equipment
Assist with development, review and management of safety, quality and compliance documentation
Assist with project implementation plans, project schedules, cost estimates and construction risk assessments
Assist with the coordination of site works, workforce logistics and material deliveries
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:
Qualified Mechanical Engineer
3 - 5 years' experience in the industry is preferred
Relevant experience in project engineering, maintenance and construction management
Ability to generate project and construction schedules
Strong stakeholder management skills
High appreciation to safety and quality assurance
Positive attitude towards company culture
Team player
Excellent communication skills
