Working alongside an experienced team, you'll help coordinate shipments from start to finish, ensuring goods move smoothly and customers are kept up to date throughout the process.
The Role
Assisting with the coordination of import and export shipments.
Preparing and processing shipping documentation.
Liaising with overseas agents, shipping lines, transport providers and customers.
Tracking shipments and providing regular updates on their progress.
Assisting with customs and MPI documentation and clearance requirements.
Updating internal systems and ensuring shipment details are accurate.
Providing general administrative and operational support to the wider team.
About You
Some experience in logistics, freight forwarding or administration would be beneficial, but isn't essential.
A genuine interest in international freight and supply chain.
Strong attention to detail and good organisational skills.
Confident communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
Comfortable using computers and learning new systems.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn.
