Electronics Repair Technician – United Gaming Ltd
Diagnose. Repair. Improve.
Are you an experienced electronics technician who enjoys solving difficult faults and bringing equipment back to life? Do you thrive on component-level troubleshooting and take pride in delivering quality repairs?
We're looking for a skilled Electronics Repair Technician to join our Repairs Team. This role is ideal for someone with strong electronics knowledge, proven repair experience, and the ability to diagnose faults using logical troubleshooting techniques rather than relying on detailed technical documentation.
About the Role
This is a hands-on technical role focused on the diagnosis, repair, and testing of electronic modules and assemblies.
Working closely with our nationwide Service Team and Parts Department, you'll be responsible for repairing electronic PCBs and modules, identifying and mitigating fault trends, and ensuring critical service stock is available to support customer needs.
This role offers the opportunity to solve problems that don't come with an answer sheet. Many of the products we repair are third-party systems with no manufacturer support. Success requires curiosity, persistence, and the ability to develop effective repair solutions through logical fault-finding and technical expertise.
Success in this role requires strong fault-finding skills, attention to detail, and the ability to deliver high-quality repairs in a cost-effective manner while independently managing priorities and repair workloads.

What We're Looking For
A relevant qualification in Electronics Engineering, Electronic Servicing, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in component-level electronics repair and fault diagnosis
Experience with BGA diagnosis and rework would be an advantage
Experience supporting service organisations or repair operations preferred
Ability to manage competing priorities and repair workloads
Strong communication skills and the ability to work closely with technicians, parts, and support teams
Willingness to share knowledge and contribute to the team's technical capability
What Success Looks Like
High-quality repairs completed right the first time
Fast turnaround times for returned service parts
Healthy service stock levels maintained
Strong support for our technical teams
Fewer repeat failures and premature returns
Valuable contribution to continuous improvement initiatives
