Position Overview
Anastasia Talent Group is recruiting a Project Manager – Commercial Restoration on behalf of a confidential construction organization in Walled Lake, Michigan. This role leads large-scale commercial property reconstruction and repair projects following fire, water, wind, or storm damage.
The selected candidate will oversee projects from start to finish, coordinating construction activities, budgets, schedules, and insurance-related requirements. Success requires restoring properties to pre-loss condition while delivering quality workmanship and responsive communication during challenging recovery periods.
Key Responsibilities
The selected candidate will be responsible for:
Lead large-scale commercial restoration and repair projects from initial planning through completion.
Develop, monitor, and manage project budgets to maintain cost control and profitability.
Build project schedules and coordinate trade partners, subcontractors, and internal field crews.
Maintain clear, timely communication with commercial clients, property managers, and other stakeholders throughout the restoration process.
Collaborate with estimating teams and insurance adjusters to align repairs with the approved scope of work.
Apply commercial construction and restoration expertise to coordinate reconstruction activities and meet project requirements.
Maintain high standards of customer care, workmanship, and professional integrity.
Required Qualifications
At least five years of dedicated commercial project management experience.
Proven experience estimating and managing large commercial construction projects.
Strong working knowledge of the insurance restoration process.
Advanced proficiency in Xactimate.
Proficiency in Microsoft Project or equivalent scheduling software.
Proficiency with standard construction management platforms.
Ability to manage project budgets, schedules, subcontractors, and field resources.
Strong client communication and stakeholder coordination skills, particularly during high-stress recovery situations.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while upholding professional integrity and team values.
