Multiple Contract Opportunities | Canberra I Sydney I Melbourne I Brisbane

We are seeking experienced Workday professionals to join our client team on a contract basis, supporting a major enterprise transformation program.

We have opportunities across three Workday specialisations:

  • Workday Data Conversion (HCM / Financials)

  • Workday Financials Functional Consultant (Projects & Expenses)

  • Workday Financials Procure-to-Pay (P2P)

Contract Details

  • Start Date: ASAP

  • Duration: 6–12 months

As part of the Workday team, you will support the design, configuration and implementation of Workday solutions across Data Conversion, Financial Management and Procurement.

You will collaborate with client stakeholders and technical and functional teams to deliver effective solutions aligned with business requirements and organisational objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities will vary depending on your specialisation and may include:

1. Workday Data Conversion (HCM / Financials)

  • Lead and support data migration from legacy systems, including SAP, Oracle and PeopleSoft, into Workday HCM and Financials.

  • Perform data mapping, extraction, transformation and loading (ETL), data validation and reconciliation.

  • Identify and resolve data quality issues to ensure accurate and reliable migration outcomes.

2. Workday Financials – Projects & Expenses

  • Gather and analyse business requirements for Workday Projects and Expenses.

  • Design and configure functional solutions aligned with business needs.

  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and support testing, deployment and implementation activities.

3. Workday Financials – Procure-to-Pay (P2P)

  • Design and deliver Workday Procurement and Procure-to-Pay solutions.

  • Support procurement workflows, supplier management, approvals, expenses and financial controls.

  • Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes and ensure alignment with business requirements.

Across all specialisations:

  • Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver Workday implementation activities.

  • Identify risks, troubleshoot functional and technical issues, and recommend process improvements.

  • Ensure solutions align with Workday leading practices and business requirements.

The Ideal Candidate

You will ideally have:

  • 2–5+ years of relevant experience in Workday consulting, implementation or ERP transformation, depending on the specialisation.

  • Hands-on experience in at least one of the following areas:

    • Workday HCM / Financials Data Conversion.

    • Workday Financials Projects and Expenses.

    • Workday Financials Procurement and Procure-to-Pay.

  • Experience working on Workday implementations or enterprise system transformation projects.

  • A strong understanding of business processes, functional requirements and system configuration.

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
