About the role

Alignz Recruitment is looking for a reliable, experienced Sandblaster to join a busy team preparing heavy steel and metal components for painting and finishing truck fit-outs, trailers, and crane parts. If you're hands-on, safety-conscious and take pride in quality workmanship, we'd love to hear from you!

Key responsibilities

• Sandblasting heavy steel and metal components

• Removing rust, paint and surface contaminants

• Preparing surfaces for painting and protective coatings

• Operating blasting equipment safely and efficiently

• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

About you

• Previous sandblasting or abrasive blasting experience preferred

• Experience with heavy steel or industrial equipment is an advantage

• Physically fit and comfortable with hands-on work

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to health and safety

• Reliable, punctual and able to work well within a team

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug test and background check
