The opportunity:

We are looking for an experienced Class 5 driver to join our highly skilled and dynamic Bulk Transport Team.  

Working out of our Bulk Store at the Washdyke yard in Timaru, you'll be driving a 2021 Kenworth with a 5 axle lusk tub with the important responsibility of transporting wood pellets - loading your truck at Washdyke and delivering and unloading to Fonterra’s Clandeboye site - keeping their fires burning, powering one of New Zealand's primary industries.

Your attention to safety, maintenance, and vehicle operation will reflect the high standards our loyal customers and suppliers expect, and drivers must be comfortable with a truck-sharing arrangement and clean and tidy with good habits around in-cab presentation.

Work Pattern:

Full-time, permanent role with a rotating 3/3/3 roster: 

• 3 days on, 3 nights on, 3 days off
• Average shift: 10–12 hours

What you bring to the table:

• Class 5 Licence (or equivalent) with 2 years of experience 
• A reliable, pro-active and can-do approach
• Loader and tipping experience (preferred, but not essential)
• The desire and ability to work a rotating day/night shift pattern
• A knack for learning new technology 
• A passion for teamwork and customer service
