Restaurant Manager - Burger King Christchurch Airport (SSP New Zealand)
Lead a High-Performing Team in a Fast-Paced Airport Environment
We are seeking an experienced and collaborative Restaurant Manager to help lead the daily operations of our Burger King restaurant at Christchurch International Airport.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing all aspects of restaurant operations. With a commitment to excellence and best practice, you will lead, coach, and develop your team while driving sales, profitability, operational standards, and a seamless customer experience.

Key Responsibilities
Deliver structured training and ongoing development for all team members.
Provide regular coaching, mentoring, and performance support.
Develop and manage effective shift plans and labour deployment.
Drive sales growth and restaurant profitability.
Monitor production controls and operational standards.
Complete reporting across sales, service, safety, and compliance metrics.
Manage labour, food, and operating costs to maximise profitability.
Ensure all food safety, health, safety, and hygiene requirements are met.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
At least 2 years' management experience within a Quick Service Restaurant (QSR), fast-food, café or bar.
A proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.
Strong leadership and people development skills.
Excellent organisational and time management capabilities.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
The ability to adapt quickly, learn new systems, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

To Be Considered, You'll Need
Flexibility to work across a Monday to Sunday roster.
Reliable transport to and from Christchurch Airport.
The legal right to work in New Zealand.
Availability to commence employment from November 2026 to begin training and onboarding.
