About the role

You will be a key point of contact for wine and spirits merchants around the world. Your day will combine daily email communication with clients, onboarding new merchants, keeping account data accurate, and resolving issues as they arise. Because you will get to know your clients well, you will also be well placed to spot opportunities where our products and services can help their business grow, and to support renewals and upgrades.

You do not need to know our systems on day one; we will train you. What we are looking for is someone who picks up new tools and processes with ease, takes ownership of their work from start to finish, and has a sharp eye for detail.

This is not a cold-calling or outbound sales role.

What you will do

  • Manage daily email communication with merchants, providing clear, accurate and timely responses

  • Guide new merchants through onboarding so they are set up correctly and see value quickly

  • Maintain high-quality account data and carry out regular quality checks

  • Investigate and resolve technical and account issues, working with colleagues in Auckland and London

  • Identify opportunities to introduce relevant products and services to existing clients, and support renewals and upgrades

  • Set up and join online calls with clients to discuss their accounts and our offerings

About you

  • Clear and professional: You write well-structured, accurate emails and are comfortable explaining our products to business owners and wine trade professionals on a video call.

  • Commercially curious: You enjoy understanding a client's business and can recognise when a product or service would genuinely help them.

  • A natural problem solver: You like getting to the bottom of an issue and take pride in work that is complete and correct.

  • Keen to grow: You take feedback well and want to build your client and commercial skills alongside an experienced, close-knit team.

  • Comfortable with technology: You are confident using online tools and AI services. Experience with CRM or helpdesk systems such as Freshdesk or Monday is a plus.

This role is ideal for someone with 1–2 years' experience in a client-facing role, such as hospitality, cellar door, retail, customer support or administration, who is ready to build a career in a commercial, data-driven environment. An interest in wine is a bonus, but not essential.
