This is a great opportunity to take your quality experience into a senior project role with a well-established civil contractor. You'll be part of a high-performing project team delivering significant infrastructure works across Canterbury, with the opportunity to influence quality outcomes from planning and delivery through to completion. This is a hands-on role rather than a traditional management position.

You'll be involved in:

Developing and maintaining project quality systems and processes
Inspections, testing, ITPs, audits and work pack reviews
Supporting engineers, site teams and subcontractors to meet quality requirements
Managing non-conformances and corrective actions
Maintaining quality documentation and supporting project handover
Working with the wider project team and client to identify issues and drive practical solutions

What you'll need:

Experience as a Quality Engineer or Senior Quality Engineer within civil construction or infrastructure
Civil Engineering, quality management or relevant qualification
Strong experience with ITPs, inspections, testing, audits and NCRs
Understanding of NZTA and large-scale infrastructure quality requirements
A practical, proactive approach and confidence working on site
Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships across project teams
Experience with quality or document management systems such as Procore would be beneficial
