This is an opportunity for a proven construction leader who thrives in high-risk industrial environments, understands the interface between construction and live operations, and knows how to bring contractors and stakeholders together to safely deliver.
You'll be the senior construction presence on site, setting the standard for safety, execution, productivity, coordination and communication.
What You'll Lead
- Safety: Provide visible safety leadership.
- Site construction: Lead day-to-day construction, sequencing, work fronts, logistics and site coordination.
- Productivity: Drive contractor performance and keep work progressing safely and efficiently.
- Contractors: Set clear expectations and hold contractors accountable for safety, quality, programme and productivity.
- Operations interface: Work closely with plant operations to coordinate construction around operational requirements, access and competing priorities.
- Stakeholders: Build strong relationships across operations, engineering, contractors, suppliers and leadership.
- Communication: Lead effective site meetings and ensure risks, priorities, constraints and decisions are clearly understood.
- Delivery: Drive construction through to completion, commissioning readiness and handover.
We're looking for a strong construction leader.
You'll bring:
- 10+ years' construction experience, including senior site leadership.
- Major industrial, manufacturing, energy, process or heavy construction experience.
- Strong and demonstrable safety leadership.
- Experience working within high-risk and operational environments.
- Proven ability to drive productivity, safety and quality.
- Experience leading multiple contractors and simultaneous work fronts.
- Strong coordination skills across construction, engineering and operations.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder-management capability.
- A practical, calm and solutions-focused leadership style.
