About the role

Glendowie Presbyterian Church (GPC) is a mid-sized evangelical Church with a kids ministry of 25+ children. This is a paid role for 20 hours per week involving a variety of opportunities across the church, Kindy, the neighbouring school and within the local community to bring families closer to God and hear the Good News of Jesus.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate a well-run, fun and engaging GPC Kids Sunday program

• Nurture the faith of kids at GPC

• Be the point of contact for Kids & Families Ministry

• Equip families to grow their children's faith

• Recruit, train, and develop leaders

• Support GPC in providing outreach opportunities into the community

About you

• Have an evangelical/biblical/orthodox theology

• Maintain and model a Christ-centred lifestyle of faith, community, and mission

• Be organised and manage your time well

• Have excellent communication skills

• Show initiative and be self-directed

• Be passionate and enthusiastic

• Have some level of biblical/theological training

• Be flexible, teachable, and prepared to take risks

• Be a positive and joyful presence in the community

• Be committed to carrying out the church's vision
