We're Nothing Naughty, a fast-growing New Zealand food brand that proudly manufactures our products right here in the heart of Tirau!
We're looking for a motivated, hands-on Retail Shop Manager to take ownership of our soon to be opening Bethlehem Town Centre retail store, and help us deliver an exceptional experience to every customer who walks through our doors.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who loves retail, enjoys connecting with people and takes pride in running a successful store. We're looking for someone who doesn't just keep things ticking along, but actively looks for ways to improve, grow sales and make our shop the best it can be!
As our Retail Shop Manager, you'll be the driving force behind the day-to-day operation of the store, leading by example, maintaining high standards and ensuring our customers always leave with a smile.
Key responsibilities include:
Taking ownership of the day-to-day operation and performance of our retail store.
Delivering outstanding customer service and building strong customer relationships.
Leading, supporting and motivating weekend and part-time team members.
Driving sales and identifying opportunities to improve store performance.
Managing stock levels, replenishment and product displays.
Ensuring the store is always clean, organised, well-stocked and beautifully presented.
Overseeing POS transactions, cash handling and daily store procedures.
Working closely with our wider team to support promotions, product launches and business improvements.
The ideal candidate will:
Have previous retail experience, ideally in a supervisory or management role.
Be confident, friendly and passionate about providing exceptional customer service.
Have a natural ability to lead by example and take ownership.
Be proactive, organised and able to work independently.
Have a great eye for detail and take pride in store presentation.
Be commercially minded, with an interest in growing sales and improving results.
Have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Bring a positive attitude, plenty of initiative and a willingness to get stuck in!
Hours:
Full-time position - Monday to Friday
Flexibility to work weekends as required to support retail operations.
