About the Role – Mō te Tūranga 

Alpine View and Burlington are looking for a casual receptionist to join their growing team! The receptionist role is front facing, directly interacting with residents, visitors and contractors. Presentation is key.

This role is to ensure annual leave and sick leave across both villages is covered when needed so will include weekdays/weekends/public holidays. Shifts are normally between 09.00am and 6.30pm. The successful candidate will be flexible to cover shifts as needed at either Alpine View or Burlington.

About you - Nga Korero Mou

We are looking for a confident Receptionist who enjoys being the first point of contact and takes pride in delivering outstanding service. You will be: 

·         A people person – able to engage warmly and professionally with residents, visitors, contractors, and staff 

·         Highly organised – detail‑oriented, motivated, and able to juggle multiple tasks 

·         A proactive problem solver – confident thinking on your feet and finding solutions 

·         An excellent communicator – strong written and verbal communication skills 

·         A team player – flexible, adaptable, and committed to high service standards 

·         Values‑driven – aligned with our core values of compassion, collaboration, vision, and excellence, and comfortable working with people from diverse backgrounds 

·         Technically capable – confident using a range of computer systems and software 

·         Calm under pressure – able to work independently and remain composed in a busy environment
