Job Description:
- Tasked to perform Storti set-up and saw change.
- Pendu set-up and knife change.
- Morgan cross-cut saw set-up and saw change.
- Lead operation of the Trim Saw, Pendu Cant sizer, and the Storti multi-rip saw.
- Lead business performance by ensuring sawn timber is cut to length and width specifications.
- Ensure plant is run to manufacturers' specifications.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance.
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Minimum of 3-5 years proven experience as a CROSS CUT/STORTI OPERATOR.
- Experienced in operating the following machinery: Pendu 3200 Cant Sizer, Storti Multibi 18-C, and Morgan Saw Company 6 head trim saw.
- Knowledgeable on Bin and Pallet assembly using a jig and nail gun.
- Candidate must be physically fit.
- Has good English communication and interpersonal skills.
