About the role
Sisam Dental is seeking a full-time Dentist to join our team in Whakatāne, Bay of Plenty. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality dental care to a diverse patient base while being part of a supportive, professional and well-established dental practice.
What you'll be doing
Provide high-quality general dentistry, including restorative, endodontic and surgical treatments
Clearly communicate personalised treatment plans, ensuring patients understand their options and can make informed decisions about their care
Utilise digital dentistry, including CEREC Primemill and Primescan 2, for same-day crowns, bridges and veneers
Work collaboratively with the dental team to provide an exceptional patient experience
Maintain high clinical, infection control and professional standards
What we're looking for
A dentistry qualification recognised in New Zealand and current registration with the Dental Council of New Zealand, or eligibility to obtain registration
Proven experience delivering general dental care in a clinical setting
Strong clinical skills and the ability to perform a range of dental procedures safely and effectively
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and clearly explain treatment options
A commitment to continuing professional development
High standards of infection control and health and safety
The ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative team
Strong organisational and time-management skills
A professional and ethical approach to patient care and confidentiality

Up to 45% commission, based on experience
Full patient books from the outset, with an existing associate dentist currently on maternity leave
