THE GIG: We are currently on the hunt for a number of experienced and Skilled Class 4 and 5 Drivers for a number of large Civil companies across Christchurch.
Ideally, we are looking for those with trucking experience in Civil Construction and have a huge demand for Class 5 Drivers with the ability to jacknife, tip and spread with alot of Point A to Point B cartage roles available, predominantly working out of Harewood and Rolleston yards.
For those looking to leave Freight roles and learn Civil, we have a number of suitable Class 4 roles carting aggregate, but also doing Concrete delivery which offers early starts and early finishes, with 3am-1pm days not unheard of giving you work/life balance!
WTR and the ability to operate Loaders/Diggers and capable of loading your own vehicle is highly desired.
With such a strong workload, we have roles in Rolleston, Halswell, Darfield, Addington, Rangiora and Mt Cass offering 50+ hours per week with the intention for you to secure a Permanent work!
We also have Sealing work for a Class 4 Driver however 75% of the summer will be spent on the road, so could suit a Truck Driver here in NZ on a WHV that may want to explore NZ whilst working in some of NZ's most scenic places whilst being paid and having meals and accomodation covered!
