The Roles ...
Lead Teachers
You’re the heartbeat of the classroom. You’ll design engaging days using our P.L.A.N. curriculum, build real relationships with your students, and set the tone for a safe, joyful, well-run room, whether you’re guiding sweet babies, curious Twos through their first big discoveries, or getting PreK students ready for kindergarten. You’ll also help set the standard for what a Georgetown Hill classroom looks like in Woodley Gardens.
What you’ll do:

- Build strong, trusting bonds with students and their families
- Own classroom management, creating a consistent, positive environment for kids and staff alike
- Support each child’s physical, social-emotional, and developmental growth
- Communicate clearly and warmly with families, colleagues, and your community
You’ll bring:
- 3–5 years of relevant preschool classroom experience
- A bachelor’s degree (preferably in education). You may also need an MSDE 90hr Preschool Certificate or CDA Certification with Preschool Endorsement (minimum)
- Solid grasp of child development principles and instructional strategies
- Working knowledge of MSDE regulations
- A warm, friendly, unflappable demeanor
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Reliability you could set a clock to
