About the role
This is a ground floor role for someone who wants more than a sales job. You will work directly with our Director to grow the contract workforce business, with real influence over how Driveforce develops. It is a hands on role in a growing business, and some weeks will ask more of you than others. You will have the Director alongside you on business development and recruitment.
Key responsibilities
Around 65% business development and account management: winning new clients, growing existing ones, and making Driveforce the first call for transport staffing
Around 35% recruiting and looking after our drivers and operators, so every client gets the right person
Running the branch when the Director is away
About you
A proven track record in labour hire, contract staffing or recruitment, with results you can show
New business won face to face, and accounts you have grown
A sound commercial head for charge rates, pay rates, on costs and margin
Strong recruitment skills, from advertising through to checks and placement
Drive, resilience and a competitive streak
Credibility with everyone from drivers to business owners
A full New Zealand driver licence
A transport or heavy vehicle background, or a network among transport operators, is a strong advantage

Driveforce is a Tauranga based staffing and recruitment business that works only in transport. We supply contract drivers, operators and support workers to transport, logistics, warehousing and civil businesses across the Bay of Plenty, Waikato and Auckland, and recruit permanent people at every level. We have strong client relationships to build from and clear plans for growth.
