Form meaningful partnerships with schools, clubs, whānau, and community groups to grow participation outside of traditional school hours
Act as a positive role model, embedding basic health, active lifestyle, and wellbeing education into your coaching to build teamwork and leadership
Take charge of the on-the-ground logistics and execution for intra-school competitions, zone programmes, and regional promotional events
Host regional coaching clinics and one-day workshops to support and upskill local volunteer coaches and teachers
About you
You have a genuine passion for youth mentoring, sports development, or community activation, and you thrive working with diverse communities
You possess excellent communication skills and can easily relate to everyone from tamariki and whānau to school principals, club secretaries, and local boards
You have a solid grasp of fundamental movement skills (relevant coaching certifications are a bonus)
You are highly organised, capable of managing daily equipment logistics and administration, and remain calm and decisive under pressure
You have a valid full driver's licence and reliable transport for your daily school and club visits
