About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced, hands-on Outbound Sales Manager to bring fresh thinking to lead, coach and develop our small phone-based team. You’ll build a disciplined, data-led outbound function, turning customer, sales and contact insights into call plans that improve engagement, retention, digital adoption and profitable growth.
You’ll combine call centre discipline, practical people leadership and strong analytical skills to set clear routines for calling, follow-up, campaigns, CRM accuracy, reporting and accountability.
What You’ll Be Doing
• Analyse sales, customer and contact data to identify trends, priorities and opportunities
• Turn insights into customer segments, call lists, contact schedules and lead follow-up workflows
• Use KPIs to target coaching, campaigns and sales initiatives
• Measure outcomes and refine activity to improve results
• Lead and coach the team to build confidence, capability and conversion, and exceed sales targets
• Create a fun, energetic and accountable sales environment
• Run daily sales huddles and monitor calls, conversion, average order value and sales growth
• Plan, run and review customer insight, reactivation, retention, lead conversion and digital adoption campaigns
• Partner with Sales, Customer Experience, Marketing, Product and branch leaders to turn insights into action
About You
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to turn sales and customer data into actions that deliver measurable results
• Proven leadership experience in an outbound customer contact, call centre or telesales team
• A positive, upbeat and resilient approach
• Confidence using dashboards and reports to shape call lists, campaigns, coaching and performance improvements
• Strong knowledge of outbound workflows, call centre discipline and structured coaching
• Experience with CRM, Microsoft Office and business intelligence or reporting tools is advantageous.
• Product-based B2B, hospitality, food service, retail or distribution experience is a plus, but call centre and data analytics expertise matters more than industry sales experience.
