Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager / Senior Project Engineer to lead projects across demolition, asbestos and civil activities. You will oversee project delivery from planning and estimating through to completion, ensuring work is safe, on schedule, within budget and aligned with project objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare quotations, forecasts and project cost estimates, and support contract negotiations.

• Plan project activities, sequencing, schedules and resource requirements.

• Coordinate the professional teams and resources working on each project, ensuring they are used efficiently.

• Monitor project progress, costs and budgets, and oversee project accounting, costing and billing.

• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget and in line with agreed objectives.

• Support and monitor Site Managers to ensure work proceeds safely and within allocated timeframes and budgets.

• Ensure safety procedures are followed in accordance with methodologies developed by the EHS&Q Manager.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date project records and files.

• Liaise with the Accounts Department as required.

• Use the organisation’s project management and business software systems.

• Represent the organisation’s interests and maintain confidentiality.

• Undertake other reasonable duties as allocated by the Director or General Manager.
