Bring

3–5 years of hands-on ABAP development experience on SAP S/4HANA with Strong understanding of the ABAP Enhancement Framework — BAdIs, User Exits, and implicit/explicit enhancements
Experience with ABAP OO (object-oriented programming), ALV reports and classical Dynpro.
Strong proficiency in ABAP RESTful Application Programming Model (RAP), CDS Views, and OData services.
Familiarity with SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) services and cloud-native development patterns.
Proficiency in ABAP Unit Testing and clean code practices.
Practical experience or working knowledge of AI/ML integration - including SAP AI Core, Joule, or embedding LLM based capabilities into SAP applications.
Understanding of IDOC/EDI-based message exchange is advantageous.
Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work in agile, cross-functional teams.
Good communication skills to collaborate with product managers, architects, and domain experts

An accountable approach to AI - you use AI-assisted tools effectively, evaluate outputs for quality,
and design prompts and context inputs that produce reliable results.
Knowledge of IS-Utilities business processes will be a strong plus

Build

Develop and enhance ABAP-based functionality within the IS-Utilities Market Communication product on SAP S/4HANA.
Design, build, and maintain CDS views, OData services, and RAP-based business objects to support market communication scenarios.
Integrate AI/ML capabilities into utility processes — for example, intelligent message validation, anomaly detection in market data exchange, or process automation.
Collaborate with product owners, functional consultants, and data scientists to translate energy-market requirements into robust technical solutions.
Ensure quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to SAP development best practices and performance standards.
Troubleshoot and resolve incidents related to market communication message flows and data exchange.
Contribute to innovation by proactively identifying opportunities to apply AI to improve efficiency, accuracy, and automation within the product.
