The City of Perryville Park and Recreation division is currently accepting applications for the Theater/Concession Supervisor. This position is responsible for the technical operation and coordination of theater production equipment, including sound and lighting systems to support theatrical performances, manages the City’s performance and movie theater as well as oversees all administrative and financial functions of the City’s indoor and outdoor concession stands.
Ideal candidate will be an energetic individual with a strong background in customer service and an ability to provide positive leadership in an operational environment while displaying and possessing exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and time management skills.
This is a full-time position, Tuesday through Saturday, with a typical schedule of 10:00 am to 7:00 pm. Starting salary is $45,974 per year with an increase to $47,813 after successful completion of probationary period. Depending on qualifications, previous experience and certifications may constitute a higher starting salary. A strong preference will be given to applicants with the following skills, abilities and qualifications:
- Prior experience in the areas of theatrical production equipment, movie/theater operations, inventory control, and food/hospitality management
- Superior work ethic
- A combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates ability to perform the essential functions of the position
