We’re looking for a .NET Technical Lead to join us at Telia.
I am Eva Tallat-Kelpšienė, leading the Sourcing and Supply Chain Solutions team at Telia Group. We are looking for an experienced .NET Technical Lead to strengthen the delivery of key order, logistics, device support, and product planning applications.
This is a hands-on technical leadership role for business-critical .NET/ASP.NET applications. You will connect long-term direction with day-to-day delivery, guide teams, and work through technical details to propose pragmatic solutions across several Telia markets.
What you’ll do:
- Lead the technical delivery of .NET solutions, connecting the end-to-end landscape with detailed design, code, data, integrations, and production needs.
- Work with business stakeholders, product and service owners, developers, vendors, and integration partners to clarify requirements and shape feasible solutions.
- Translate business and architectural direction into technical designs, interface requirements, implementation plans, and actionable engineering work.
- Guide developers and suppliers, review designs and code, set engineering standards, and resolve complex technical or delivery blockers.
- Contribute hands-on to proof-of-concepts, troubleshooting, performance analysis, and root cause analysis.
- Drive DevOps practices and modernization plans, balancing speed with quality, security, maintainability, observability, and service continuity.
- Support critical launches, campaign peaks, major changes, and incidents when strong technical coordination is required.
What will help you thrive in this role:
- Strong 5+years hands-on experience in .NET/.NET Framework, C#, ASP.NET, SQL Server, REST APIs, and distributed integrations, gained as a senior developer, lead developer, or technical lead.
- Experience designing, building, troubleshooting, and modernizing integration-heavy business applications. Knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML, or Angular is an advantage.
- Ability to see the broader system landscape, examine implementation details, assess trade-offs, and turn complex requirements into practical engineering solutions.
- Solid understanding of Windows Server environments, CI/CD, automated testing, secure coding, release management, monitoring, and DevOps collaboration.
- Strong communication skills and confidence leading technical discussions with distributed teams, vendors, and both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in IT, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent practical experience, together with fluent English.
- Willingness to support business-critical incidents, launches, or campaign periods outside regular working hours when required.
