About the role
As our Business Intelligence Developer, you’ll work alongside business stakeholders and our data team to turn reporting needs into reliable, decision-ready insights. You’ll develop Power BI dashboards and datasets and build and maintain SQL models and views in Snowflake with support from our Data Engineering team.
This is a great opportunity to grow your skills on a modern cloud data platform. You’ll gain hands-on experience across the full BI lifecycle, from understanding what the business needs to delivering the final product. You’ll also help colleagues across the organisation build confidence in using data and contribute to a foundation for future AI and advanced analytics work.
About you
You’re a curious problem-solver with experience in BI or data analysis, and you’re ready to take the next step in your career. With great communication and relationship building skills you enjoy working with people as much as working with data, and you can turn a business question into a clear, accurate report. You’re eager to learn and grow your skills in modern data modelling. Key experience you'll bring includes:
- A degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering or a related field strongly preferred, or/and equivalent practical experience
- Strong foundational knowledge & experience in BI, analytics or data analysis
- Solid SQL skills and experience building dashboards and datasets in Power BI
- Good communication skills and confidence working with non-technical stakeholders
- A careful approach to documentation and clear metric definitions
- Experience with Snowflake or another cloud data platform is a bonus, but not essential, because we’ll support you to learn
- Current driver’s licence
- National Police Clearance obtained within the last six months
