The work involves responsibility for administering countywide mobility and transportation programs, geared towards connecting people and communities with the transportation they need to thrive. The work involves assisting in development, coordination and evaluation of transportation education and outreach initiatives including walking, biking and public transportation. The work is performed under the general supervision of the Mobility Manager with leeway for the use of independent judgment. Does related work as desired.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Either:
- Possession of a Bachelor’s degree or higher in human services, transportation, planning, education, communications, marketing, business or closely related field; OR
- Possession of an Associate’s degree or higher in the above fields and two (2) years of work experience in a transportation, education, or community-based setting.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of a valid New York State driver’s license is required. Failure to maintain a NYS driver’s license including driving privileges throughout employment will result in disciplinary action or dismissal.
