We are looking for two part-time (19 or 20.5 hours per week) Sales and Service Assistants to join our caring and professional team at Foot Mechanics and make a real impact every day.

We are currently seeking an experienced Sales and Service Assistant for our clinic in Johnsonville, Wellington.
About the role:
As a Sales and Service Assistant, you'll recommend comfort footwear and foot health products to customers in-store. We have some of the latest technology to assist with foot scans and creating recommendations for shoes and orthotics.
There will be some admin requirements, like assisting customers with our self-service kiosk for Podiatrist bookings and ensuring the seamless day-to-day running of the shoe store and clinic.
With great communication skills, excellent presentation and a strong work ethic, you'll be the key to ensuring our customers and patients feel listened to and cared for.
Training and a supportive team are provided, but you will also have to work autonomously and be able to problem-solve as you go.
This is a permanent part-time position of approximately 19 or 20.5 hours per week, with the following shift options:
Option 1:
- Monday, 9.00am - 5.30pm
- Tuesday, 9.00am - 5.30pm
- Wednesday, 9.00am - 1.00pm
Option 2:
- Wednesday 12.00 pm - 5.30pm
- Thursday 9.00am - 7.00pm
- Friday, 9.00am - 1.00pm
You will need to cover other shifts at times in addition to yours.

About you:
We are seeking someone with sales experience in high-end retail and a drive to provide empathetic and friendly support to our patients. Our local clinic has an excellent position in the Johnsonville Shopping Centre.
In a nutshell, we want someone who:
Has a few years' experience in a retail sales role (footwear/ health products would be ideal), or experience providing health/hair or beauty services.
Commitment to listening and providing our customers with exceptional service.
Strong reliability and able to work weekdays and weekends.
Has excellent communication skills.
Takes pride in professionalism and reliability.
Has experience in Microsoft Office 365.
Can think on their feet and find information and solutions with a 'let's-do-this' attitude.
